One year of writing: Building a story, one post at a time
Over time, this journey became more than just writing. I found myself learning on the go—becoming unexpectedly 'expert', building the entire look and feel of the blog from scratch.
It’s been a year – and a milestone is achieved.
Thirteen months ago, there was this idea in my head – and to be honest, it wasn’t the first time. I had at least two other recorded attempts in the not-so-recent past, with mixed feelings and mixed results.
This time, though, the need came more organically, I dare say. It happened in parallel with a few career developments at my previous employer. Conversations started around this time last year—about my future, my career, my options. And while I was in a good position to shape different paths and protect my best interests, I also realized I could share some of that stuff with a wider audience.
Because sometimes, all these career conversations, the internal HR thinking and doing, feel like a little secret—things no one is openly discussing, yet everyone is concerned about.
