Living in the present Vol2. Memento mori
This requires you to be brutally honest with yourself, stop beautifying the reality by setting aside the excuses you often use to justify your actions. Self-observation isn't about judging yourself harshly but about seeing things as they truly are.

Some time ago, I came across with this phrase and its meaning, and it stuck with me for good. Let me explain!
I am not claiming to be the originator of the idea, nor will I ever be. How could I? I simply express my strong advocacy for it, hoping that can motivate someone (anyone or no-one) to seek the discipline and commitment (oh yes, that’s all that it takes) to focus on the present moment —fully, without distractions or noise.
Most importantly, I hope it helps you notice when you're on 'autopilot' or when you're 'traveling' too often between the past and future. By recognizing this, you can guide yourself back to the present and fully embrace the experiences it offers.
